OUR STORY
"In 2021 we took over the old West Coast Brewery (Miner's Brewery), rescuing it from liquidation with the goal to revitalise and reimagine beer on the West Coast. Our taproom and bar are open Tuesday to Sunday.
We support independent New Zealand producers in everything we do and use entirely New Zealand ingredients in all of our beers (with some minor exceptions)."
What sets us apart?
We make simple, great beer, that champions our farmers and producers. Behind the bar you'll usually find one of the owners, or the brewer, chatting to locals and tourists. We also highlight great South Island wines, soft drinks, and snacks; alongside art from our favourite local artists. It's a great spot to stop in, taste some beer, relax, and enjoy something tasty.
Most Famous Style?
Kiwi Dark Lager - a 4% dark lager with a 30-year history in Westport.
